County Sligo Golf Club at Rosses Point is widely regarded as one of the great championship links courses. It is located in the picturesque seaside village of Rosses Point just 15km from Castle View accommodation and is known locally as “The Point”. Originally founded in 1894 as a 9 hole course it is now a modern 27 hole complex with spacious clubhouse and up to date facilities. The club is the home of the famous west of Ireland Open Amateur Championship played every Easter since 1923. It has hosted many other prestigious events including the Home Internationals, the Irish Close and the Irish Professional Match play Championship
